Our Master Craftsmanship
Our skill as master fan makers is reflected in every detail of the fans we create. We know every part of the fan inside out and make sure that each one is perfect: from the rods made with noble and controlled woods, such as birch, bubinga, mahogany, cedar, ebony, kotibé (tapir), olive, palo santo, palo rojo, banana, sapelli, samanguila, sipo, pear, southern yellow pine (mobila), zebrano or wenge, to the country or fabric, made mainly of 100% cotton or natural silk, worked with the traditional technique of gouache by hand.
Each fan goes through a completely handcrafted manufacturing process, where our expert hands take care of every detail of the assembly, painting and final finish, ensuring that each piece is a true work of art, worthy of a demanding customer.

Materials and Handcrafting Process
At Abanicos Muñoz, the choice of materials is crucial. We work exclusively with controlled woods such as birch, bubinga, mahogany, cedar, ebony, kotibé (tapir), olive, palo santo, palo rojo, banana, sapelli, samanguila, sipo, pear, southern yellow pine (mobila), zebrano or wenge. These woods have been selected for their durability, flexibility and natural beauty. Each rod is carefully worked to ensure smooth bending and a strong structure, while preserving the elegance of each piece.
The country or fabric of our fans is primarily 100% cotton, but we also offer natural silks and printed fabrics for those looking for bolder customization on larger volume fabrications.
The painting on the country is done by hand, which gives each fan a unique and exclusive character. The combination of these high quality materials with our master craftsmanship allows us to offer luxury fans that are both functional and decorative.
